Pootles Design Team WEEK 1, Bella and Friends

Happy New Year every one and welcome to my blog. For me this is a great start to 2017 as I am very happy to be part of the Pootler's Design Team for January. Every Thursday throughout this month five of my Pootler team mates will each be creating a project using the lovely Bella and Friends stamp set., so by the end of January there will be 20 very different and individual projects to inspire you. This is my Week 1 Project.
I look forward to working with this stamp set as it is not one that I would have chosen, being more of a floral girl myself I tend to use Designer Series Papers and stamp sets inspired by nature so this will be a challenge. This card is larger than usual at 63/4 x 5 inches and several of the images have been used in the one project, because of this I wanted to keep the colours simplistic using only whisper white, basic black ,silver and smoky slate which I think look effective.
Some of the images were stamped black on whisper white, cut out and mounted on silver foil sheet. These were then attached to the card using dimensionals giving a raised effect, silver ribbon and metallic enamel shapes for embellishment.
Some of the images were embossed using white embossed powder on basic black , cut out and mounted on whisper white cardstock. All the embossed images were painted with wink of stella glitter brush to give that extra sparkle.
